I'm all about color and playing around with color, the different shades of one color are insane, sort of like an extended family if you will ( not the insane part, the array of colors). Pistachio is another shade of Green, some may even call it Mint. I like this color because it's so different and you really don't see it a lot. I'm all about trends, sometimes, but at some point you've got to be your own person and try something new that everyone else is hesitant about. Instyle magazine, my go to magazine, shows a couple of pieces found on runways at Fashion Week. A lace dress from J. Mendel and the 2 piece pant & off the shoulders top belted at the waist from Kenzo (fabulous by the way). They suggest some colors that work well with Pistachio and they are a darker more bolder shade of Green called Grass (green grass lol), Coral and Plum...not bad combinations, definitely worth a try! The jeans in the ad are from Big Star 1974, found at bigstarusa.com, their jeans run from $89 to about $ 145 which isn't bad at all. I love, love, love the Jessica Simpson mixed print shoe that gives you a hint of Pistachio at the toe strap! Envision it, a pair of Pistachio colored skinny jeans, a Coral tank top blouse similar to the one below with the lace detailing (found at TJMaxx for just $12.99) and the Jessica Simpson shoe ($98 found at dillards.com) now that's one cute outfit!!! Day or Night.....

I love this color....it's such a cool color, such as light & airey. It definitely says spring is here!
