September/October/November...Fall in w/ Fall Trends

Off the shoulder Dolman top from Arden B. for $28....off the shoulder is always sexy, the smocked bottom is fitted on the waist bringing more attention to your hips, and you have the draping in the center....color and all, it' s perfect for fall!

Faux Suede Vest from Arden b. for $68.....this has to be my favorite out of the two, for one it's $10 less and it just seems more sophisticated chic and the one below is more rock-n-roll chic

Faux Camel Fur Vest from Arden B. for $78

Animal print leggings from Arden B. for $28......you can pair these with a long white button up, a gold chain belt at the waist, brown blazer, and booties

If any of you have seen the September issue of InStyle magazine or have been to the website http://www.instyle.com/, you should be up on what's hot for fall 2009, but if you don't read and can't stand the researching on the internet, don't worry I've got you covered! According to InStyle.com, here are a list of trends that need to be included in your wardrobe, some I totally agree with and some I'm somewhat scared will get blown out of proportion...

a) Ornamentation-ladies when dealing with items of clothing or accessories that have ornamentation, you should follow the rule of "less is more"

b)Fur Accents-me personally I want the entire fur coat, but you can rock the fur vests that are so in right now

c)City Look-if you are wondering what this look consists of, well think of being dressed in all black everything, at first I was completely all for this look but in the past two weeks I've seen it so much, I think I'm over this one

d)Draping-think of a Grecian goddess, and if you want to show off your curves remember to drape below the waist

e)Attention to the legs-you want to look for leggings with some texture or pattern, dresses with short hems, the longer you make your legs look....the better off you'll be!

  1. I love the leggings but why did you brown it out??? You have to experiment.

  2. I browned it out for that specific reason. Everyone is always quick to throw on a black blazer with everything, or navy. Imagine a chocolate brown blazer against a crisp white button up and the accented gold chain belt, and then add that splash of color with the footwear or handbag.
