A look at Z Spoke by Zac Posen..........

So for those of you who haven't heard, Zac Posen now has a lower priced collection called Z Spoke, in which you can find at Saks. Other designers have set out and came up with lower priced lines i.e. Isaac Mizrahi for Target and Vera Wang for Kohls. Now, seeing as this collection is in Saks....it may not be as low priced as some would like but compared to the price of a Zac Posen Gown, I wouldn't mind paying the price listed for the items (well some of them at least!). The collection is very clean and seems as though its made for that woman that likes to look very well put together like myself. The collection has color, prints, and form fitting pieces for the woman that wants to show off her curves.

Now my focus here is the Stretch Cotton Suiting Jacket, but as you can see it is paired with the Silk Twill Blouse. I am huge jacket and blazer fan, I don't think you could ever have enough. The jacket or blazer is a great accessory piece to have so that you may change the look of an outfit at any given moment. So we have this crisp white Suiting Jacket which sells for $455 at Saks. The reason why I like this jacket is because of the color for one, having a crisp white jacket or blazer for the Spring and Summer is key....but also because of the military styled shoulders and the 3/4 length sleeves. The jacket also has a notched collar, button cuffs, the material is Italian Cotton & Lycra, the lining is Silk.

This whole outfit is just too adorable! I would definitely lose the shoes though, but that's me personally because I'm a stiletto girl but if I were to do a flat with this outfit it would most likely be a navy loafer type shoe, maybe with a gold buckle across the toe to make it pop like the yellow lapel is making the blouse pop. The top is a Silk Twill Lapel Blouse for $355. It has a detachable bow, metallic buttons, 3/4 length sleeves (which I love by the way), the material is Italian Cotton/Lycra, and the inseam is about 4 1/2".

The shorts are Stretch Suiting Shorts for $195. A couple of details drew me to the shorts, first off are the oversized belt loops where you have the option of wearing a large or medium width belt (love having options), and secondly the cuffed hem. The shorts also have an exposed side zipper, and they come in sizes; 0,2,4,6,8,10,12.

Next we have the Boatneck Knit Dress, which sells for $445.....

Very form fitting as you can see...a great piece for drinks at night, or dinner! Again I would definitely change the shoes. I love the yellow and purple combination, and that from the back it seems as though you have on a different dress because you get all stripes behind..........

Lastly, the Matte Silk Flared Dress now I think we all now why I love this piece so much, COLOR! The color is amazing, it's like a mustard yellow which I more likely wear in the Fall where colors are deeper and richer but for Spring 2010 let's do something a bit different ;-). The deep V-Neckline is very sexy, the flared & pleated skirt is fun and flirty....there is also pleating at the neckline. The cutout on the arms gives it a bit of edge, and who doesn't love a cutout on the back?.....

All in all I think this is a great collection, I think he has something for every type of woman!!!
